The build quality too is right up there with the best I’ve seen, the overall fit & finish is fantastic, with outstanding attention to detail throughout. The Duality is also very comfortable, hugging the contour of your wrist perfectly. The proportions of the watch, in my opinion are absolutely spot on and I find the Duality wears brilliantly on my 6¾″ wrist, which is all thanks to the sensible and relatively compact lug to lug distance of around 47mm. The Nodus Duality has a water resistance rating of 300m, thanks to the screw down caseback & dual screw down crowns. The finish of the case itself is mostly brushed, but with the addition of rather sexy chamfered polished accents that run along the side of the case ( top & bottom) and down over the edge of the drilled lugs. The entire case, caseback, bezel, crowns and bracelet are all 316L stainless steel. The lug to lug is 47.4mm and the overall thickness, including the double domed box sapphire crystal, I measured in at a very nice 12.8mm. The case of the Nodus Duality has a diameter of 39.7mm. Highly durable stainless-steel construction and sapphire crystal provides 100 metres of water resistance.Legibility in any lighting is guaranteed thanks to the impressive Swiss Super-LumiNova T-C1 X1 applied to the hands and markers.With an unusual crosshatched "Tapisserie" dial pattern, Avalon offers a contemporary twist on a dive watch.Nodus have taken the time to regulate this 24-jewel Japanese calibre to be accurate to and impressive +/- 8 seconds per day. The Avalon uses a Miyota 9015 automatic movement. The bracelet also features quick-release spring bars for fast strap changes. This clasp offers on the fly micro-adjustment at the push of a button, and enables to wear to achieve the perfect fit with no fuss. The Avalon also marks the debut of the Nodus NodeX clasp on the bracelet. The 120-click unidirectional bezel features a glossy ceramic insert that's fully lumed for use in the dark, and the watch uses a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on its underside. With a screw down crown and case back, the steel case has an impressive 300m water resistance that will be plenty for anyone looking to take their watch swimming or diving. The 43.5mm cushion case is very reminiscent of Seiko's iconic dive watches, whilst still having an identity all its own. The Nodus Avalon is now in its second iteration, and it's better than ever.
